SNP DEVELOPMENT CASE STUDY / STAXX
STAXX / Archived development case
A brass-focused brand development programme — explored through one necklace with carefully specified brass and silver components.

STAXX / Selected 2021 development
Chain proportion. A detachable charm. The texture of a T-bar. Stone sizes and a requested matte finish. Each detail needed to move from a drawing into a physical sample.

01 / Direction into construction
The original direction combined elongated links with double rolo links and interchangeable attachments. The sample review brought those proportions onto the physical chain.

The March 2021 development review specifies the cable-chain and double-rolo construction, and records a follow-up on the T-bar pattern. These are design decisions under review, not a claim of approval at that stage.
02 / From assembly to finish
The photographs show an unfinished assembly and a later gold-tone sample with stones. A physical piece makes the relationship between the chain, clasp, bar and disc visible.

03 / Material and production
The matched June production record separates the materials: brass chain and dog clasp, silver disc and T-bar. This is a mixed-material development within the wider brass-focused STAXX programme.
Review link proportions, connecting rings, attachment points and how the pendant hangs as an assembly.
Define the metal for each component before treating the necklace as one finished specification.
The same necklace reference appears in production and shipped-quantity tracking. That record also includes rework, showing why follow-through matters after the first sample.
04 / The wider brand programme
Packaging development and the STAXX shoot add context to the brand programme. They show the wider project, rather than a claim that every image belongs to the same shipment.

What this project shows
A buyer can start with design intent. SNP can help work through component choices, sample review and the practical decisions that make the product workable.
A finish request is a development checkpoint
Matte or polished changes the product.
The supplied review asks for a matte disc finish. The photographed sample is shown as a development stage; it is not presented as proof that the requested matte finish was approved.
