SNP DEVELOPMENT CASE STUDY / AVVA
AVVA / Archived development case
Client direction. Real samples. Detailed comments. A range carried through to order and shipment.
A historical SNP project, shared with permission. These pieces illustrate development capability; they are not a current AVVA collection or a stock offer.

What SNP handled
Construction, chain and finding choices. Physical samples and buyer review. Branded components, order coordination and shipment.
01 / The direction
The spike collar sheet in the March design pack specifies proportion, chain width, links, clasp and branded tag. SNP’s task was to translate that intent into a workable physical piece.

The spike collar reference matches the subsequent May order and June shipment records. The March review still lists this necklace among samples awaited; it is not presented as approved at that earlier stage.
02 / Product engineering
Sample review turns appearance into practical questions: how a pendant hangs, whether the chain suits its weight, how the back fits, and how the finish reads on the complete piece.
The matched order records specify 925 sterling silver, with yellow-gold and silver/rhodium finish variants.
The Talisman review questioned a chain that felt too fine for the pendant. SNP explored alternative chain constructions before the order specification was settled.
The star-stud review requested the earring back for approval. Archived photographs show branded bullet clutches and a separate post-fit comparison.
03 / Sample development
Six actual sample photographs from the project archive. Follow the chain refinement below to see how a sample review develops the specification.

04 / Review & refinement
Talisman pendant: the pendant was liked, but the chain was judged too fine for its weight. The response was to examine alternatives, not simply repeat the first sample.

The later archive also records station-chain development. The May order specifies the agreed chain construction, and the same pendant reference appears in the June shipment.
The box-chain comparison shows an option review, not a claim that this option became the final ordered chain.
05 / Brand details
Branded bullet clutches make an otherwise hidden component part of the identity. Post fit remains a functional check alongside the appearance of the mark.
The review requested the earring back for approval; these archive photographs document the component work.

06 / Order & production
Matching product references connect these selected developments to the May order and June shipment. Order records specify materials, finishes and construction details for execution.

07 / Packaging & delivery
SNP handled packing and delivery for the project. The archived June shipping workbook includes a packing list and commercial invoice carrying the same selected product references.
The timeline below summarises the archived packing and shipment records.
Approvals, chain feedback and a request to review branded backs.
Selected products, material and construction recorded.
Matching styles in the invoice and packing list. Delivery completed, as confirmed by SNP.
08 / What this project shows
A buyer does not need to arrive with every technical answer. SNP can work from design direction, develop the construction, refine samples and carry the project through to commercial execution.

Buyer review / March
The buyer requested a silk box chain to review. SNP’s comparison photographed three chain options against the same pendant.
